Multiple Heart Rate Zones
The maximum heart rate varies depending on the workout mode. Maximum heart rates can be set using different labels to accurately calculate calories burnt in a certain workout mode.
Heart Rate Zones and Pace
Five levels of workout intensity are defined using the heart rate zone and pace to represent five states of energy consumption.
After outdoor running is enabled for a period of time, the watch calculates the benefits, informs users of their current exercise status, and adjusts the strategy in a timely manner to avoid any injuries from doing exercise.
Recovery Heart Rate
The recovery heart rate refers to the difference between the heart rate at a specified time after a workout and the peak heart rate during the workout. Frequently used measurement intervals include one, two, and three minutes. The time and degree of heart rate recovery after exercise can be used to measure athletes' adaptability to training loads and their physical fitness.
Resting Heart Rate
The resting heart rate refers to the stable heart rate measured when a person is awake and relaxed. Long-term regular exercise can enhance heart functions and lower the resting heart rate.
Huawei’s Brand-New Running Capability Evaluation System
Running records are used to evaluate the running performance and quantify runners' capabilities and determine their levels.
For example, when runners go all out in a race or training session, they can be ranked or graded out of all runners from the race, which helps runners understand how well they are doing and whether they are making progress. The real-time running ability index (RAI) represents your current status, which is the level of running capability after you've finished running that day (so it will fluctuate). Recent RAI is calculated based on your recent real-time RAIs and evaluates your recent running status.
Huawei's brand-new running capability evaluation system uses an evolved algorithm. After each training session, the system calculates the RAI based on the relationship between the heart rate and pace even if runners do not push themselves to their limit. This allows users to learn about their running status in real-time.
The training load is the training time multiplied by the training intensity and is an accurate reflection of the training amount and the impact of training on the body.
Maximum Oxygen Uptake (VO2Max)
Maximum oxygen uptake indicates the highest level of oxygen uptake and utilization per kilogram of body weight per time unit during a long period of intense exercise. It reflects the body's ability to intake, transport, and utilize oxygen, and is, therefore, an important indicator for assessing the ability to do aerobic exercise.
Aerobic training effect: This indicates the benefits of aerobic exercise for the body during a single workout. Long-term aerobic training can effectively improve the aerobic training effect.
Anaerobic training effect: This indicates the benefits of high-intensity training for the body during a single workout. High-intensity intermittent training can effectively improve the anaerobic training effect.
Smart Running Plans
The watch offers more personalized, user-friendly, scientific, and professional smart running plans. You can customize a scientific training plan based on your training goals and times. Every week, the plan is automatically adjusted based on your status and a summary is provided to encourage the completion of short-term goals. You can also customize a training plan based on your training status and feedback for the difficulty of subsequent courses to be intelligently adjusted.

You can use the HUAWEI Health app to import other users' workout routes and share your workout routes with them.
Precise Route Back
If you get lost while on an outdoor adventure, you only need to enable the route back and real-time voice guidance features. You can then return to the original route based on the directions provided. When you get lost in environments such as deserts and hills, switch to linear navigation to quickly return to where you came from. The watch calculates the navigation distance and displays the remaining distance and estimated arrival time.
Heart Rate Broadcast
After heart rate broadcasts are enabled, the watch will continuously measure your heart rate and share your heart rate with connected devices or third-party apps.
External Heart Rate Bands

The watch can be connected to a Huawei running device to read your running data from the device while you are running. This helps you learn about your running status in a timely manner. Oxygen saturation refers to the percentage of the combined volume of oxygen and hemoglobin to the total hemoglobin volume in the blood. Inadequate blood oxygen levels over a long time can cause damage to the brain, heart, and other organs. The watch supports automatic detection of blood oxygen levels and periodically monitors changes in your blood oxygen levels 24 hours a day. There is a dedicated card for you to view the historical blood oxygen data and learn about changes to your health.
TruSleep™ 2.0 constantly monitors your sleep quality while you are asleep, monitors your heart rate in real-time, analyzes your breathing quality while you are asleep, and uses Big Data analytics to rate your sleep quality. With the help of Huawei's AI technology, the watch can accurately identify six types of common sleep issues and provide more than 200 suggestions for improving your sleep and personalized sleep services (such as meditation, sleep after exercising, and nap) to help you improve sleep quality.

HUAWEI Healthy Living provides multi-dimensional daily goals and health suggestions. Wake up AI Voice by pressing and holding the Down button to interact with the voice assistant (only for Huawei devices running EMUI 10.1 or later) with voice commands using your watch.
NOTE: To use this feature, ensure that your watch is connected to your phone and that your phone's network is functioning normally.
Independent Music Playback
When your watch is paired with your phone over Bluetooth, you can use your watch to control music playback on your phone for operations such as skipping songs and adjusting the volume.
You can also add music from your phone to your watch and store up to 500 MP3 songs on your watch, as well as connect your watch to Bluetooth earphones or use speaker mode to play songs. This allows you to enjoy offline music when it is not convenient for you to carry your phone while walking, running, or exercising.
NOTE: Only Android phones support music syncing.
After the watch is connected to your phone, touch the remote shutter app on the watch to enable the camera of the phone. Then touch the photo shooting icon on the watch to control the camera of the phone to take photos.
The remote shutter is only available in the watch's app list when your watch is paired with a Huawei phone running EMUI 8.1 or later.
To use this feature, ensure that your watch is connected to your phone and that the HUAWEI Health app is running in the background.
The watch does not support previews or viewing the photo. You will need to view the photos on your phone.
Lunar Phases and Tidal Changes
The watch can display the status of moon phases, the tide, and the sunrise/sunset. Tidal, astrological, and lunar phases can all appear on your watch face when you raise your wrist.
